Distilled from the leaves and flowers, geranium bourbon essential oil comes from Madagascar. Ideal for the skin for its cosmetic virtues, it can also be used in diffusion, pure or in synergy.

Geranium bourbon essential oil is a panacea for skin care. Perfectly well tolerated, it can be used by all skin types: mature, combination to oily, acne-prone but also dry, dull and tired. It has properties and composition equivalent to that of Egyptian geranium essential oil; these two varieties coming from one and the same plant are simply cultivated in two different places on the globe.

    Cosmetic properties:

Distilled from the leaves and flowers, geranium bourbon essential oil comes from Madagascar. Ideal for the skin for its cosmetic virtues, it can also be used in diffusion, pure or in synergy.

Carefully selected by our quality department, each batch is scrupulously analyzed, controlled (geographical origin, appearance, physicochemical criteria) and chemotyped in order to guarantee a constant and maximum concentration of aromatic molecules and active ingredients.

    Organoleptic properties:

    Botanical name: Pelargonium graveolens var.bourbon

Part of the plant used: aerial parts

    Origin: Madagascar

Color: greenish yellow to dark green

Odor: flowery, fine, pink, slightly sweet

    Culture: organic farming

Extraction method: total and complete steam distillation (our essential oil contains all of the aromatic principles of the plant), extracted without solvent, not deterpenated.

    Botanical family: Geraniaceae

Yield: 0.15 to 0.3%. This means that it takes 300 to 660 kg of aerial parts of bourbon geranium to obtain 1 kg of bourbon geranium essential oil. Yield may vary depending on season, region, type of crop, or from one year to the next. The lower the yield, the more valuable and expensive the essential oil will be.

Solubility: All essential oils are soluble in oil or oily raw materials. To mix an essential oil in water, it must first be dissolved in a dispersant such as Disper.

Storage: away from light and heat.

Keep out of reach of children.

    Always close the bottle correctly.
