1 - The benefits of ravintsara essential oil against the flu

This essential oil is made from a tree native to Madagascar, ravintsara, which means “tree with good leaves” in Malagasy. Suitable for the whole family, ravintsara essential oil is one of the most popular and most used oils in cases of ENT tract infections. Antiviral, it helps fight against the signs of the flu. Immunostimulating, it tones the nervous system and helps the body to defend itself and recover after a viral infection. Expectorant, it promotes the expulsion of secretions which clog the trachea and bronchi in cases of influenza syndrome.

2 - How does ravintsara essential oil work on the flu?

Composed largely of terpene oxides (1,8-cineole), terpene alcohols (alpha-terpineol) and terpenes (pinenes), the essential oil of ravintsara, or cinnamomum camphora, has multiple, very useful properties. to cure the flu. Rich in eucalyptol, a compound appreciated for its refreshing odor close to camphor and its powerful anti-infectious activity, ravintsara essential oil acts by inhibiting the intracellular replication of viruses. Eucalyptol also has the ability to stimulate the mucin glands, which has the effect of thinning the mucus present in the respiratory tract and facilitating its expulsion.

Pure: simple, easy and very effective even if the symptoms are already there

Mix a drop of ravintsara in a very small spoon of honey or olive oil, swallow 4 times a day.

    Special pregnant woman

    From the 4th month of pregnancy, mix 1 drop of ravintsara essential oil and 1 drop of thujanol thyme essential oil. Pour over ½ teaspoon of honey and let it melt in your mouth, 4 times a day for 5 days.

      Flu - Cutaneous use

      In prevention of the flu

      One to 2 drops massaged on the inner part of the wrist and breathed deeply, up to three times a day, in case of contact with sick people.

        Synergy to relieve flu symptoms and speed up the recovery phase

        Mix :

        • 2 drops of ravintsara essential oil
        • 2 drops of radiant eucalyptus essential oil
        • 2 drops of noble laurel essential oil
        • 2 drops of tea tree essential oil
        • 1 teaspoon of hazelnut vegetable oil

        Apply with light massages to the lower back, along the spine and to the thorax, 4 to 5 times a day for 2 days.

        As a suppository

        Ask the pharmacist to prepare suppositories based on:

        • 20 mg of ravintsara essential oil (10 mg for a child)
        • 60 mg of eucalyptus essential oil (30 mg for a child)
        • 20 mg of noble laurel essential oil (10 mg for a child)
        • 50 mg of thujanol thyme essential oil (20 mg for a child)
        • 20 mg of St. John's wort lipid extract

        Administer a suppository 3 times a day for 2 days then one morning and evening for 3 days.

        Special baby tip (over 3 months)

        Mix in a 5 ml bottle fitted with a dropper:

        • 1 ml of ravintsara essential oil
        • 1 ml of Ho wood essential oil
        • 1 ml of sweet almond vegetable oil

        Massage the chest and back with 10 drops, 3 times a day, for 2 to 3 days.

        Influenza - Broadcast use

        To be distributed in living rooms in the event of a flu epidemic

        Mix equal parts in a 10 ml bottle, ravintsara essential oil, lemon essential oil and eucalyptus essential oil. Diffuse 10 drops of this mixture, 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening.
