Identity record
Botanical name: Lavandula officinalis (= lavandula angustifolia, lavandula vera)
Part of the plant used: flowering tops
Origin: France
Color: colorless to amber yellow
Odor: floral, rustic, herbaceous, characteristic of lavender

Extraction method: naturally pre-wilted in the field, Quercy lavender is then harvested mechanically. It is then distilled using steam at low pressure (our essential oil contains all of the aromatic principles of the plant), extracted without solvent and not deterpenated.
Botanical family: Lamiaceae
Yield: 1%. This means that it takes 100 kg of fine Quercy lavender flowers to obtain 1 kg of fine Quercy lavender essential oil. Yield may vary depending on season, region, type of crop, or from one year to the next. The lower the yield, the more valuable and expensive the essential oil will be.
Solubility: All essential oils are soluble in oil or oily raw materials. To mix an essential oil in water, it must first be dissolved in a dispersant such as Disper
