Recipe

It helps you maintain a natural tan longer. After sun exposure, your skin needs to recharge. This care nourishes and rehydrates your epidermis, allowing it to rest and regenerate more quickly. Rich in mint hydrosol, it also refreshes your body and soothes irritations and the sensation of heat caused by the sun. Your skin regains all its softness and natural beauty, it does not feel tight and does not dry out. Fresh scent with citrus notes.

Usage

Vegetable glycerin: Provides the necessary water to your cells, your skin gets hydrated and plumped up. A moisturizing agent whose effectiveness on cells is scientifically proven, glycerin improves the appearance of the skin, making it supple and smooth. It is non-comedogenic and very hypoallergenic. Carrot macerate: Is the tanning active ingredient par excellence. Very rich in β-carotene, it gives the skin a slightly tanned effect. Its antioxidant properties also neutralize free radicals caused by sun exposure and responsible for skin aging. Peppermint hydrosol: Offers its refreshing and soothing properties. It also prevents irritations and itching. Toning, it restores radiance to the skin and tones the vessels. The combination of tea tree and mandarin essential oils: Provide their calming and antiseptic properties. Tea tree essential oil is a powerful antiseptic that prevents infections if your skin is damaged by the sun. Mandarin essential oil helps reduce wrinkles and other signs of skin aging. Vitamin E: Natural antioxidant, it protects the oily phases (oils and butters) from oxidation. The oils do not become rancid and therefore do not lose their properties and benefits. It is also attributed with anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties.

Precautions before starting

Before starting, it is advisable to clean and disinfect the work surface and the utensils: the prepared products will go on the skin, it is therefore necessary to avoid any microbial contamination!

Thoroughly clean the BeautyMix. Then, soak a clean cloth in 70° alcohol (available in supermarkets) and use it to disinfect the BeautyMix tank and all the utensils. Let dry.

Clean the work surface and remove objects that could get in the way.

Place a clean paper towel on the work surface, and place the utensils on it. Have available: a clean teaspoon or spatula, and a clean, dry container for pouring the preparation once ready. Wash hands thoroughly.

Preparation
1
Pour the carrot macerate, vitamin E, and add the cutina into a first bowl. Pour the peppermint hydrosol, glycerin, sterilized water, and baking soda into a second bowl (mix a little).
2
Heat 2 pots of water. When the water begins to simmer in both pots, place your 2 bowls in a double boiler at the same time and heat the preparations without mixing or stirring (the water must remain simmering).
3
As soon as the cutina has completely melted in the oil, wait another 2 minutes (very important to reach the right temperature) and then remove the bowls from the double boiler.
4
Immediately pour the aqueous phase into the oil phase and beat vigorously with a whisk or fork for at least 5 minutes until you obtain a homogeneous and creamy texture.
5
Finally, add the mandarin and tea tree essential oils and the isocide.
6
Beat again to homogenize your preparation well. Pour into a bottle using a spoon. Let cool for 15 minutes and it is ready.
And There you go !
